January 4, 2019 -- VARA welcomes competitors and fans to the return of the most incredible vintage racing event in Southern California! California. Speedfest will feature Datsun and 50 years of the “Z” car. This event will not only include all Vintages classes racing on the GP course, VARA is partnering with Group Z to provide a Japanese car show, and Speed Ventures will be running an Autocross for those who do not have race-prepared cars and would like to participate at this venue. Go Fas Racing Signs Lajoie for NASCAR Cup

December 22, 2018 -- Go Fas Racing is proud to announce that Corey Lajoie has been signed as the driver of the No.32 Ford Mustang for the 2019 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series season. LaJoie will compete full-time with Go Fas, beginning with the 61st running of the Daytona 500 in February.  LaJoie, a 27-year-old third generation racer, is a North Carolina native with a family deeply rooted in motorsports.  His grandfather, Don LaJoie, is a member of the New England Auto Racing Hall of Fame alongside his father, Randy LaJoie, who won NASCAR Xfinity Series Championships in both 1996 and 1997. Corey has six wins in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East, three wins in the ARCA Series, and several top 10's in NASCAR's top series. Alonso to Use Chevy Power in 2019 Indy 500

December 5, 2018 – Two-time Formula 1 champion Fernando Alonso will compete in the 2019 Indianapolis 500 in a McLaren Racing entry powered by Chevrolet’s 2.2 liter twin turbocharged direct injected V6 IndyCar engine. The Chevy power plant powered the defending winner of the Greatest Spectacle in Racing, and three Indy 500 winners since its 2012 IndyCar Series introduction. “It will be a privilege to wear the Bowtie Brand at the 2019 Indy 500,” Alonso said. “Having Chevrolet power behind me means we’re putting ourselves in the best possible position to compete at the front. Light to Join NHRA Museum Board

December 5, 2018 – Graham Light, who earlier this year announced his retirement as NHRA’s senior vice president of racing operations at the end of 2018, announced today that he will join the Board of Directors of the Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum presented by Auto Club of Southern California. Light will put his relationships, knowledge and years in the sport to the best use possible – furthering Wally Parks’ dream of creating a world-class motorsports museum to preserve NHRA’s history. As a member of the board of the Museum, Light will work closely with Museum chairman of the board Tom McKernan, and the other members of the Museum board, to help move the Museum forward. Champions Capture Trophies at HSR Classic Sebring 12 Hour

December 2, 2018 -- A determined and deserving group of Historic Sportscar Racing (HSR) competitors broke through for victories this weekend in the Third Annual HSR Classic Sebring 12 Hour that concluded Sunday with the presentation of custom-made HSR Classic Sebring 12 Hour edition B.R.M. Chronographes watches to four overall Run Group winners at Sebring International Raceway. A retro-tribute race to the timeless Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, which will be run for the 67th time this March, the Classic Sebring 12 Hour format featured each of the four Run Groups taking to the track four different times the past two days. Battles Still On at Sebring HSR 12 Hour

December 1, 2018 - The Third Annual Historic Sportscar Racing (HSR) Classic Sebring 12 Hour hit the halfway mark soon after nightfall Saturday at Sebring International Raceway where four Run Groups of vintage and historic sports cars will keep the close competition going until just before Midnight. With all four Run Groups having completed their first two rounds, no runaway leaders have emerged and the racing action across the board has been close and competitive. Group A has turned into an all McClendon International Lola battle with the 1969 No. 77 Lola T70 of Toni Seiler and the 1969 No. 127 Lola T165 of Mauro Casedei andAndy Feigenwinter splitting the first two segment victories. Haley to Debut 2019 Kaulig Racing Ride

December 1, 2018– Kaulig Racing is eager to announce the development of a multi-year deal with 2018 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Champion contender, Justin Haley. Heavy Competition in HSR 12-Hour Classic Sebring Races
